Day 2: Castle District (Hradčany) & Lesser Town (Mala Strana) Stop 1. Charles Bridge. If you are staying at The Mozart Prague, you’ll be in the perfect place to get up for sunrise and visit Charles Bridge crowd-free. The bridge is one of Prague’s main attractions, so it does get incredibly busy. Explore Leipzig and Dresden. To really limit the amount of time you spend in transit, consider spending a week in eastern Germany by giving yourself 3 to 4 days in Berlin plus a day or so each in Leipzig and Dresden. Leipzig is just over an hour by train from Berlin, and Dresden is about 2 hours by train. Here are a few of our favorites to consider adding to your Prague itinerary. Karlštejn Castle. The same Charles that built the Charles Bridge also built Karlštejn Castle out in the countryside, and it’s within day trip distance.
